Jason Henninger

Jason Henninger is a Managing Director and a practice leader in Heller’s Product & Engineering group. Leveraging his 20 years of experience in technology recruiting, Jason delivers high-quality candidates for CIO, CTO, CISO, and other senior digital positions nationwide. Jason has a proven track record of successful candidate outreach, client development, and management on technology executive searches. He works with Fortune 500, as well as mid-market companies, higher education, non-profits, small businesses, and high-tech startups. Jason’s deep knowledge of technology and his vast network of candidates have allowed him to gain valued credibility and understand what makes a great technology and product executive.

Providing consultative talent solutions to client organizations across multiple industries, Jason leads searches throughout the technology C-level organization, as well as VP and Director level. Jason has supported countless searches for clients including CTO, Head of Software Engineering, CISO, Global Head of Cyber Defense, Executive Director of IT, Head of IT, Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Chief Transformation Officer, and VP of Enterprise Architecture, among others.

Prior to Heller, Jason worked for many years at a leading technology recruiting firm. As Account Manager and later as Regional Director, Jason was instrumental in growing the firm from 15 employees and two offices to more than 150 employees and 10 offices across the United States, all while building and serving his clients.

An active listener, Jason is a communicator who believes in transparency and building long-term client relationships.
